The event offered a platform for professionals and major players to share their ideas on various subjects such as advancing Regenerative therapies in cancer and Parkinson disease. They also discussed the cellular and molecular damage as the main cause of the disease of aging. These topics are the main focus of the functions of SENS Foundation, a non-profit organization. The entity is supported by private people, prominent philanthropists, researchers and scientists. One of the leading supporters of the organization is Jason Hope. Over the years, the visionary leader has donated significant amounts of money to the organization.
In 2010, hope donated $500,000 to the organization. This donation facilitated the SENS Foundation to build and equip the Cambridge SENS laboratory and implement a new research initiative. Recently, Hope elucidated why he has been interested in supporting the operations of the SENS Foundation and its goals. According to him, Foundations like SENS are employing an unusual approach to anti-aging. The organization’s point of focus is on finding cure for illnesses that break down the body, resulting in people aging faster than they should. Hope notes that institutions such as SENS Foundation are focusing on stopping the disease from ever occurring.
