Iran has shown that it is committed to manufacturing nuclear weapons. This does not sit well with the governments of the countries in the Middle East both Israel and other Arab nation included. They have condemned Iran for manufacturing nuclear weapons.
Majority of governments in the region believe that nuclear weapons in the hands of Iran will be a greater threat to the stability of the region. Iran is sympathetic to terror groups such as the Hezbollah. Such groups might gain access to these weapons, and as a result, the security f the countries in the region will be threatened.
Daniel Taub who has served for a long time as a peace negotiator and lawyer on behalf of Israel believes that if the nuclear weapon issue is not handled appropriately by the United Nations, there will be more insecurity in the Middle East.
Daniel Taub who was serving as an ambassador for Israel in the United Kingdom between 2011 and 2015 believes that the agreement that was reached between Iran and the UN Security Council does not respect the opinions of the majority states in the Middle East.
He believes the agreement is weak and cannot prevent Iran from manufacturing nuclear weapons. The measures that have been installed by the UN does not fit into what is needed to make the region free of nuclear weapons.
Daniel has represented Israel in many peace negotiations meeting. Taub believes that peace in the Middle East will be reached once the international community accepts to listen to other countries in the region such as Israel.
Israel has always been committed to peace deals, but they insist they must be consulted before any peace deal is brokered. Israel has shown good signs of respecting peace agreements.
Already there are a number of peace agreements which are in existence between Israel and other countries in the region such as Jordan and Egypt. Daniel Taub insists that the international community must learn from the previous agreements and respect the concerns raised by Israel.
