On Mar.28,1953 J. Christopher Burch was born in Bryn Mawr, PA. He was raised in Wayne, PA by his mother Robin Sinkler and his father John Walter Burch. Burch started his career in 1976 where he attended Ithaca College located in Ithaca NY (bjtonline.com).
He and his brother started their journey in fashion while attending college. Investing only a small amount of money, Eagle’s Eye apparel was their first store. Burch and his brother were able to open a retail store. The store made over $165 million before it was passed on.

He partnered with a few architects to build the famous Faena Hotel located in Miami Beach and Buenos Aires. In 2013, Burch purchased Nihiwatu resort in Sumba,Indonesia.
