Professor Kamil Idris on Intellectual Property Rights

Professor Kamil Idris received his international law degree from Geneva University in Switzerland; additionally, 19 universities from around the world have given Professor Kamil Idris honorary doctorate law degrees. From 1997 until 2008, he served as the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization and the Secretary-General of the International Union for the Protection of Plant and Varieties. Idris currently serves as a member of the International Law Commission of the United Nations.
